Shervin Roohparvar

Shervin Roohparvar of Bravo TV's Shahs of Sunset takes you on a ride inside his lifestyle as a style and business expert. Take a look at his video and Q&A below:

What are the 3 most important items in your wardrobe closet and why?

Plain, black Tom Ford suit. Every man should have a plain black suit, because it’s timeless and versatile, and Tom Ford’s quality is just that.

A pair of black, John Varvatos boots. Again, versatility is key, and because I travel a lot…being able to pack something that works with casual, chic, and formal attire, makes life much easier.

A gold Rolex watch. Rolex is forever classy, timeless, and simply the best when it comes to luxury watches…these are the adjectives I always want to be associated with.

What would you say makes your look/style unique?

I think what makes anyone’s look/style unique is the way you carry yourself…the attitude behind the look. Whether your attitude is cocky, confident, straight-laced or chaotic, this will determine how the same outfit can give a completely a different vibe depending on how you feel.

What grooming products do you use to keep your look up?

I’ve never really been into using too many grooming products, my limited variety includes a good spray deodorant, Chanel Bleu cologne and for my skin I only apply Kiehl's Daily Moisture treatment to avoid dry skin.

Talk a bit about Tyme and why investing in tech is important for you?

Tyme is a very interesting company that is set to disrupt payment processing, and will soon become a standard in the hospitality industry and other industries following. The only that is constant in history is change so, it’s imperative we pay attention to new technologies and the values they can add to our day to day lives. I am from Silicon Valley and have roles in a handful of tech companies…it’s always fun and exciting to be on the front lines of the next innovative thought and development.

If you could give advice for a newbie investor, what would you say are the biggest mistakes people make in the restaurant or club industry?

The advice I would give a less experienced investor in the hospitality industry is to know your consumer properly. Often times investors/operators/owners fall prey to their own wants as opposed to the cravings of their customers…they play the music they like in the venue not what’s popular among their patrons, or serve their own favorite foods instead of what’s on-trend. The hospitality industry is fun but it’s very important to remember the purpose of the business is for your patrons to have a great experience more so than yourself.

What can your supporters expect next from you?

My supporters can expect a lot of new announcements coming up including the re-launch of a clothing line/retail boutique that I am a part of called Estate. We plan to cater to the high-end, fashion-forward, urban clothing connoisseur. I’m also looking forward to resetting some of my own wardrobe with the new line as well…follow my IG page @AlphaSherv for the latest on that!
