Tekashi 69 Climbs The Charts While Facing Life In Prison

Rapper Tekashi 69 is topping the charts despite being in Federal Prison. The “Fefe” rapper released his album “Dummy Boy” this week and has already cracked the Top Five songs on iTunes. Four of the Top Five songs on iTunes belongs to the incarcerated rapper, Tekashi 69. He is also seeing success on Amazon where his album is the top-paid digital album currently. Despite 6ix9ine’s recent album success, the Brooklyn rapper is locked up in Federal prison on a number of charges including racketeering and firearms. The “Gummo” rapper pleaded not guilty this past week to his federal charges. If convicted, the 22 year old faces life in prison. The rapper’s court date for these charges is scheduled for September 2019.
